Updating contacts exchange blackberry
In December an upgrade was done to the current version of BES.
Is the upgrade responsible for the contacts not synching on the older devices?
Create a Home screen shortcut: This is enabled by default and adds a shortcut, specific to this account, to your home screen Notify me when an email arrives: This setting controls whether or not you will be alerted when a new message arrives.
Each account that has been added to the application can be individually configured to alert how you would like it.
Note: If the same account has been added to the Android OS via Settings/Accounts, or another 3rd party application, you may see multiple alerts/notifications for the same message.
Choose only one application that you would like to notify you for this account to stop the duplication.

If it still not work you can take a look in the MAGT log file for this user. But it is also possible that you need to upgrade the Black Berry OS as well. However, one is updating contacts and the other is not.
