Updating line6 m13

Ultimately, the Zoom is on my board due to its ability to make patches, its smaller footprint, and for its delay options.

If you want to make patches, the M9 or M13 would be a better bet, but those have an even larger footprint. The main reason was that I realised I didn't need all that versatility, but there were also a couple of annoyances that helped my decisipn:1: Most effect types have no level control, and some of them are (for some reason) louder than others. But at the end of the day with the great selection of effects in a small price point, I think it’s worth it.

Other things to note: the reverbs are from the Verbzilla, plus you get the original Particle Reverb.

Some of these are replicated on the Multi Stomp, but they tend to have higher fidelity on the M5.

Comparing a product that does almost everything under the sun to a Swiss Army knife may be an overused cliché, but in the case of the Line 6 HX Stomp it’s hard to think of a better comparison.

While this compact device is small enough to fit into a gig bag accessory pocket or squeeze onto a crowded pedalboard, it’s packed with a multitude of useful features and provides an impressive variety of functions that enable its use as a stomp box-style multieffects processor, complete guitar or bass rig, multichannel USB audio interface and more.

Not being able to stack effects is a turn off for some people too, but it depends on how you use your effects.

love about it:•Limited number of presets (24, I think?

There are some dirt models on the M5 that aren't horrid, but most are not that great. The HX Stomp is also the most affordable way to access the sounds of Line 6’s Helix effects, amps and speaker cabinets that utilize the company's state-of-the-art HX modeling technology. Even though the HX Stomp is an affordable, compact product, it still provides all of the same effects offered in Line 6’s flagship Helix guitar processor, including many of their most popular “legacy” effects from the DL4, DM4, FM4 and MM4 stomp boxes and M5, M9 and M13 processors.Even more impressive is that HX Stomp offers dozens of brand-new models, including several obscure pedals like the Wounded Paw Battering Ram and amps like the Ben Adrian Cartographer."It includes a host of incredible new effects including a guitar-based vocoder, which is unique to POD in the multi-effect category."POD X3 V2.0 delivers 12 additional, fully adjustable effect models to all POD X3 products, including POD X3, POD X3 Live, and POD X3 Pro.The update increases the effect model count of each product to a generous 110.
